Ramdom Solstice tips from last year

Prismatic Taken drops an Empowerment Buff in EAZ. Empowerment Re-buffs super return on exotics.

When you kill the prismatic taken in the eaz, it drops a buff that gives instant empowerment. However, this empowerment is completely independent of the energy orb empowerment. Basically you can get 60 seconds of empowerment if timed right. I’m not sure if empowerment stacking does anything. I’m really not trying to run any more eaz after 100 miniboss kills. Also, empowerment re-buffs super return for exotics: Shards goes back to a full 3 seconds of super return on Solar Day and Solar Empowerment

If that makes no sense, every EAZ run last year a random Prismatic Taken group would spawn about halfway through the run. Killing the Taken would make it drop an orb that would buff you, and instantly give you a full active stack of empowerment (30s on double super duration + extra damage). The spawns last year (that I can remember) were on top of the parking garage and in the merchant district (on the roofs)

Additionally, elemental empowerment would get rid of the hard cap for super return. Last year Shards of Galanor was capped at about 60% super return, but with solar empowerment active, getting the 3s of super return from Shards of Galanor actually gave you back full super. With this year's change to Orpheus Rigs being capped at a max 50% super return, it would make sense void empowerment + top tree tether + orpheus rigs could again give full super energy

Major Spec Mod adds +8% damage to EAZ Minibosses

Major Spec, and not Boss Spec, affected the EAZ minibosses last year

Chests having fixed spawns

When you killed an EAZ miniboss last year, it added one additional chest that could be found. Gladd posted a video last year showing all 21 chest locations

Stupid Cat statue might actually do something this year
