Serra, the Wardancer
Serra was born to the head of the all-women Wardancer clan. No man had entered their mountain-village in twenty years, but despite that, there was Serra, crying in the hot afternoon sun. The girl proved a prodigy in their arts of war, blending swordsmanship and dance in a gorgeous, lethal performance. She had slain her first prey at the age of six and became a full warrior at the age of nine. Eventually, she even mastered her own mother, before even turning eighteen. Her mother looked up at her daughter with pride. This young girl would lead their clan to greatness.
It was, however, not to be. Soon, her clan was attacked by strange foreigners from far away lands. Men and women on horseback, clad in bronze. Each of the Wardancers killed at least ten men, but that’s not worth much when your enemy outnumbers you one hundred to one. The only ones that managed to escape were Serra and her mother, who had gotten badly wounded in the battle. Soon after, her mother too succumbed to her wounds. Now alone in the world, her and her mother’s swords the only company she has, Serra travels the world, perfecting her art, and out to murder those men and women in bronze.
