Content of the article: "Looking for feedback on a homebrew subclass I came up with"
This is a fighter subclass based on a tactician or general type of character. Someone who can lead their allies to victory using cunning and wit. Looking for ways to make it better or balance it off it's too good and to see if I got the flavor right.
Strategic Engagement: When you take this feature at 3rd level you gain a bonus to your initiative rolls equal to you intelligence modifier as you pick the best way to engage your enemies in combat. If you observe a creature(s) you may use an action to make an investigation check against the highest passive perception of the creature(s) you are observing if you succeed this benefit extends to you allies
Tactical Advisement: When you take this feature at 3rd level you gain the ability to aid your allies with your tactical wit. When an ally that can see and hear you and vice versa within 30ft makes an attack of opportunity or a move action you may use your reaction to advise them on the best way to do so giving them advantage on the attack of opportunity or making it so that their movement does not incur attacks of opportunity. The range of this feature extends to 60ft at 10th level.
Battlefield Commander: When you take this feature at 7th level you gain the ability to take control of the combat and lead your allies to victory. When you would make an attack you may forego your attack and allow an ally that can see and hear you and vice versa within 30ft of you to use their reaction to make the attack action, move action, dodge action, disengage action, or cast a spell. The range of this ability extends to 60ft at 15th level.
Situational Awareness: When you take this feature at 10th level you have become accustomed to the heat of battle and the haze of war no longer obscures anything to you. You gain additional reactions equal to half of your proficiency modifier rounded up.
Seasoned Veteran: At 15th level combat is a second nature to you and your mind and body act as one. You may use your Battlefield Commander feature without foregoing your attack. Additionally, you may use your Battlefield Commander feature when you use your Second Wind or Indomitable feature.
