Your monastic tradition gifts you the ability to store extra Ki points beyond the norm, because of this you naturally seep out an aura of condensed energy from your body, which puts you in a state of temporary empowerment called the Overflowing Ki State.
Overflowing Ki Whenever you finish a long rest, the remaining Ki you had beforehand is stored in a secondary well of limited Ki. Currently at 3rd level you can only store an additional 2 Ki points in this secondary well, yet you will be able to store an additional (1) Ki point at 6th, 11th, and 17th level.
Improved flurry of blows While you are in your Overflowing Ki state, whenever you use your Flurry of Blows feature you may make an additional unarmed strike with the normal 2 strikes. In addition, all strikes from your Flurry of blows deal a bonus of 1d4 (scales with monk's martial dice) + half your monk's level rounded down in damage. When you leave your Overflowing Ki State you still get the third unarmed strike but lose the damage boost
Terrifying aura Your overflowing aura of stockpiled Ki has now manifested into a shroud of power, which will often dwarf or even oppress the will of others. As an action creatures that can see you must make a Wisdom Saving throw based on your Ki Save or become Frightened of you until they succeed in ending this effect. If you are not under the effect of Overflowing Ki, this costs 1 point to use.
Maximum power While you are in your Overflowing state you may spend 2 Ki points to increase either your Strength or Dexterity score by 2 points, regardless if this effect goes beyond the maximum of 20. When you leave the Overflowing Ki State the effect is reduced by 1 point, and cannot use this ability again until you finish a long rest.
Ki surge As an action you may expend all of your Ki points to release a disruptive wave of pure, unfiltered Ki in a 50 ft. radius. Creatures within this area of effect must make a Dexterity Saving throw, taking Xd6 Force damage (X is the amount of Ki points expended this way) and are knocked prone upon failure, or half and not knocked prone upon success. And you must make a CON saving throw (DC Ki amount x2) against your ki save to avoid passing out If you are in your Overflowing Ki state when you take this action, the damage die becomes a D8.
