Content of the article: "The highs are high and the lows are so deep I see Adelle rolling"
Firstly, forgive my formatting, I'm at work on mobile but can't stop thinking about the game so I wanna type this out.
I've been playing the game for almost 2 weeks now and can't seem to put it down. Even the new LoL season hasn't been enough to pull me away from the game.
I was lucky enough to have a buddy that's been playing for a long time teach me a lot of stuff right off the bat and run my first few raids with me. Looking back now, I guess we got pretty lucky because we extracted on the vast majority of them and I got some pretty decent stuff right away.
But all good things must come to an end. So far I've been team killed several times on accident from poor communication and once when I forgot I muted my mic before the raid started. So I decided it was time to start doing solo runs. I figured it was less things to keep up with and I could just shoot anything I see without worrying wether it was a teammate or not. Easy stuff, right? Wrong. After being one tapped by nearly everyone I saw and didn't see, I became frightened by almost every little sound and lost nearly everything id gotten so far. I honestly didn't even want to run my PMC anymore just cause the survival rate had become so low that I felt anything I had I liked, I was just gonna lost shortly after spawning in.
But after a bit, things got better. I got some lucky kills and kitted out players that were loaded and made it out alive with a ton of great stuff. And then my very last run last night I solo killed the boss on customs and all his body gurads as a scav with a vss with no scope by chilling on the rocks above gas and picking them off one by one. I managed to get out with all their stuff and had an adrenaline rush like no other.
Overall this game feels horrible when you're getting kicked while you're down but when you're winning, it feels like you're on top of the world. Thanks for reading my little rant!
