Am I alone in being totally distracted and annoyed at all the partially damaged CAMP item's health bars?
It's bad enough having them in the first place but when a CAMP is new and they are all at 100% health the uniformity makes it slightly less annoying or distracting. As soon as something get's partially damaged it stands out like a sore thumb and really impacts my ability to enjoy my own CAMP (where I spend most of my time). I'd rather they be removed so mye CAMP looks real in the environment like other in game structures.
I don't even understand why they are there at all when you cannot repair partially damaged CAMP items. What's the point? So you can assess what's likely to break next? And why once CAMP items are broke is there no notification symbol over broke item at all? SO you have to repair all on your CAMP tool or find the broken object (corn stalks I'm looking at you).
If they aren't going to allow us to repair partially damaged CAMP items they should get rid of this extremely ugly and unhelpful UI element. If they insist on some kind of in game UI element regarding CAMP items, why not some symbol for an item being completely broke over the CAMP item instead?
Tl;dr – title
EDIT – Adding a video here just to be clear of what I am talking about. Also because one user claimed you only get shown CAMP items that are damaged below 25% otherwise you have to click on them to check their status. As you can see in this video not only is the 25% claim wrong but I also don't click on anything, I literally just walk around my CAMP with these ugly & useless bars everywhere.
EDIT 2 – As you can see in my short video I have a lot of CAMP items fitted together that normally don't. Varying floor levels, slocum joe bars around posts on the porch etc. Hard to get them to fit right so just scrapping and replacing isn't as easy as it may seem. Some people claim you can repair partially damaged CAMP items but no one has shown proof or explained how other than scrapping & replacing. If anyone can show me how to repair a partially damaged CAMP item with out scrapping it, storing it, replacing it etc. I'm all ears.
