The deck honestly feels both very strong and very weak at the same time. You can easily kill from 15 damage with brann, he's a true MVP.
-against druid: keep awaken! at all costs and hard mulligan for very early game. Dump your hand asap unless you're second with ringmaster's baton and a pirate in hand, in this case you should coin and play the baton turn 1 and attack a 1/1. turn 2 attack a 1/1, play your pirate that has +2/+2 now and you summon patches too!
-against priest: hard mulligan for card draw. Your board will get decimated. The one thing you don't want to happen to go in top deck mode. Save brann with ritual chopper.
-against paladin: same as druid, but mulligan for awaken! even harder.
-against shaman: win. All the decks they played today were shit tbh
-against warlock: same as priest and be careful with defile, you want as many baton buffs as possible.
-against warrior: same as priest. If it's pirate warrior, you'll still be fine since the deck is good at comeback.
-against demon hunter: win
-against rogue: win, unless you get absolutely outplayed with some reno rogue bullshit lol whoever that player was, he has my respect
-against mage: same as priest, I know secret mage is an aggro deck, but you don't need early board control necessarily and a big zilliax wrecks them
-against hunter: same as druid.
-nightmare amalgam: without a doubt a weak minion, but it makes the deck much more consistent that I think it deserves its current spot. It activates alexstraza's champion, it can get drawn with whatley, you can strap a zilliax on it and it gets buffed with the baton.
-tent trasher: purely there because it was the best dragon I could add since the deck lacked 1 dragon to make alexstraza's champion active enough. It's bad though.
-southsea deckhand: great card! the ultimate play with it is to get 2 swings with the baton and play him so you have a 1 mana 4/3 with charge on turn 2 with patches and normally etherium rover.
N'zoth's first mate: wasn't good for the deck due to all the weapons in the deck that you do not want to destroy, it was better in the early game against druid so replace sky raider with it if you face too many aggro druids.
-sky raider: the deck needed another early game pirate besides southsea deckhand. sky raider was better than n'zoth's first mate due to value generation.
-stage dive: the deck felt like it needed more rush tutoring. It goes really well with scion of ruin and zilliax. Another reason why tent trasher is bad… Also, it's a reason why I cut devoted maniac.
-devoted maniac: it always feels bad when you pull him. you have enough invokes without him thanks to brann. only good with brann, but that's too fringe.
-forge of souls: tutors 2 of your top 5 best cards in the deck. More than 1 is overkill though. I tend to keep it in control and mage matchups.
