Heroes of the Storm

What if we could call out objective progress, the same as we can call out that an enemy is missing?

The same as you can call out your ability cooldowns, the enemy respawn timers, or if an enemy is missing, what if you could call out the state of the objective?

For example, if you are playing Dragon Shire, you could hold ALT and click on one of the shrine icons near the minimap to call out the state of the objective, click on your side, and it'd say something like "Medivh notes that your Team owns the Sun and Moon Shrine", or "Alarak warns that the Enemy Team owns the Moon Shrine" if you click on the enemies side.

To give an idea of what sort of things these would call out on each battleground, here is what I'd envision it to be:

Tomb of the Spider Queen: "Abathur warns that the Enemy Team has collected enough Gems" "Alexstrasza warns that the Enemy Team is carrying 6 Gems" "Ana notes that your Team has collected enough Gems", "Mei warns that the Enemy Team needs to hand in 9 Gems", what would be pinged would depend on where you click, inverse pings for your Team.

Sky Temple: "Alarak warns that the Enemy Team is occupying the Jackal Temple" "Anduin notes that your Team is occupying the Crocodile Temple", and "Anub'arak notes that the Snake Temple is unoccupied".

Volskaya Foundry: "Artanis warns that the Enemy Team has captured 89% of the Triglav Terminal", and same for your Team.

Warhead Junction: Number of nukes collected, "Arthas notes your Team has collected 3 Warheads"

Battlefield of Eternity: Health remaining for each Immortal

Infernal Shrines: Minions collected, "Auriel warns that the Enemy Team needs to kill 3 more Shrine Minions to summon an Arcane Punisher

Braxis Holdout: "Hanzo warns that the Enemy Team owns the top Beacon", "Illidan notes that your Team has rallied 60% of a Zerg Wave", "Deathwing warns that the bottom Beacon is contested"

Towers of Doom: "Azmodan notes that your Team will fire 4 missiles at the enemy core when your Team collects an Altar", "Junkrat warns that the Enemy Team will fire 2 missiles towards your core when they collect an Altar"

Dragon Shire: "Yrel warns that the Enemy Team owns the Sun and Moon Shrine", "Gul'dan notes that your Team owns the Sun Shrine"

Cursed Hollow: "Lunara notes that your Team needs to collect 1 more Tribute to curse the Enemy Team".

Garden of Terror: "Garrosh warns that the Enemy Team needs to collect 2 more Seeds to summon their Garden Terrors".

Blackheart's Bay: "Fenix warns that the Enemy Team needs to hand in 3 more Doubloons" "Stukov notes that your Team needs to hand in 12 more Doubloons".

Hanamura Temple: "Dehaka warns that the payload is contested", "Valeera warns that 3 enemy Heroes are pushing the Payload" "Maiev notes that 2 Allied Heroes are pushing the Payload".

Alterac Pass: "Tracer warns that the Enemy Team needs to hold the Prison Camp for 8 more seconds to unleash their cavalry"

You'll note that in the case of objectives with a goal of a number of things, instead of using the number as displayed in the UI, I recommend the callout should say the number of remaining things needed to get the goal. I think this would help make it easier to quickly gauge the urgency of the ping, as lower number = worse in the case of the enemy team, and better in the case of your team. Others might disagree here, though.
