Content of the article: "JACK, THE WINNER has the potential to become a League of Legends Champion, and here’s why."
Mark my words; Jack the Winner is going to be added to League of Legends. If you want proof, here is little bit of backstory as to why I am convinced that he is going to be added.
First off, the only cards with commas in their names are as follows:
- Yone, Windchaser
- Senna, Sentinel of Light
- Jack, The Winner
- Rahvun, Daylight's Spear
The top two are already champions in League of Legends; the final two were added in the Call of the Mountain Expansion, meaning they're new and haven't had any representation yet. Take note, there are no other cards in the game with commas in their name. Ledros? No. Tianna? No. Cithria? No. Vyrnna? No. None of these cards have commas.
Second, the cards with commas all have multiple voicelines with their respective Champion card (bar Rahvun. It doesn't seem like he'll be coming to League anytime soon):
- Yone – Yasuo
- Senna – Lucian
- Jack – Tahm Kench
In case you've somehow managed to not see that Tahm Kench is coming to Runeterra, here is your notification. Jack has tons of voicelines with Tahm Kench and his underlings. He has a very interesting connection with him, and it goes deeper than just their lines. They have history. In the picture at the top of the page, you can see Tahm Kench's passive on Jack's hat. My prediction is that Jack will share a similar passive to Kench, just as Yone's passive is nearly identical to Yasuo's.
This portion is about to get a little speculative, so you can feel free to ignore it:
Yasuo and Yone also share Q1 and Q2. Senna has a very similar Q to Lucians, as it can only be targeted on units (or wards). As Jack is a fighter, it seems that he might have the ability to pick up his opponent, like Tahm Kench does with his current W, but instead it could be him literally picking them up over his head. You could imagine he'll be a top laner, meant to fill the hole Tahm left when he got gutted. P.S. Tahm Kench also wears a black top hat with a maroon trim around it
Third, Riot has stated that Bilgewater will have a major part in the upcoming game, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story. Jack very well could be presented in that game as a key piece to its outcome. He already has a bunch of underlings that would make for good henchmen to fight in the turn-based RPG style.
I understand that a lot of this sounds like a conspiracy theory, but there is no way Riot put this much effort into one card, and put this much detail into designing the other ones, for us not to piece the puzzle together ourselves. I'm always a sucker for Bilgewater representation in League, and I'm excited to see it in Ruined King, too.

Jack shares similarities with Yone and Senna, hinting that he's likely to be a new champ in League and may be featured in the Ruined King game Riot is making.
Let me know what your thoughts are and if there are any details I'm missing or something I may have overlooked. I do know that MF and GP will be playing a major part in Ruined King, but there's no reason that Jack can't be there, too. That one is also kind of speculative.
