I don’t personally play Overwatch. Did anyone ever play against/with a player named BirdPerson?

I myself don't play Overwatch but my brother loved it. He put thousands of hours into the game and absolutely adored the community and regularly kept up with the updates and politics of the gameplay. He played on account named "BirdPerson" which obviously was a Rick & Morty reference. He used to tell me how people would exclaim his name while playing due to this. He'd always chat to me about the game but I didn't really understand. He was obsessed with tracking and always being a better player, I think he would have loved to have played competitively but he always said his PC wasn't powerful enough for his needs.

Anyway, more to the point – back in September of 2020 he decided to take his own life. I left the house for the day and returned in the evening, to find his body as I opened my front door. Unfortunately I was far too late to save him, despite trying. He was genuinely my best friend. We were both introvert shutaways who both suffered mentally and I always used to reinforce to him that we were a team and were stronger as two.

He was 23, I've just turned 27. I am totally broken by this experience and I regularly dream about him in various scenarios; good and bad. Last night I dreamt about going shopping with him, and fondly remember giving him a hug. I also dreamt about sleeping with Ariana Grande but that's irrelevant.

I would love to know if anyone remembers playing with him, I understand this community is huge but I remain hopeful that someone will. Behind the pseudonym he was a kind, gentle, accepting and loving person and I really miss him every second of every day. Thanks for reading guys, hope you all have an awesome day.

TLDR; RIP BirdPerson – 1996-2020. I miss you.
