Sit down and look at your tabs. Look at the items you've gathered, and the slots in your various tabs that are still empty.
Do we really need 104 different Essences, split across 25 types and 7 tiers?
Do we really need 56 scarabs, divided into 4 tiers and 14 different kinds?
Do we really need 4 tiers of breach stones?
Do we really need 13 different oils?
Do we really need 25 different fossils and 8 resonators?
Do we really need 316 different sets of divination cards?
Do we really need Talismans?
Do we really need 5 types of organs, each with their own little specific loot tag?
Do we really need 24 different Delirium orbs?
How about currency shards, incursion vials, Harbinger unique fragments, prophecies, etc.?
What about everything that has their own dedicated stash already, like Azurite, Bestiary Crafts, Harvest seeds?
On their own, for each we might say: Sure, these are neat, these are useful, let's keep them! But on the whole, look at just how incredibly many things we are collecting, each of them just ever so slightly different that they are useful in their own little specific way.
And for a League mechanic, that's fine. During a League, the mechanic and its items should be the focus. But afterwards? All these past leagues, do they really need to still exist in their fully itemised forms? Is there really no way to cut out the 80% of Essences or Scarabs that are not even used anyway?
The goal is not for GGG to add more slots to the Currency/Fragment tabs, to give us Stash Affinities or Tab Folders, Quad League tabs or whatever else GGG or the community comes up with. The real problem is severe item bloat. THAT is what needs to be fixed.
I would ask GGG to have a conscious look at items from past League mechanics and seriously consider removing, condensing, merging or otherwise dealing with these.
