Here's Alteration, concluding my Schools of Magicka Skill line concepts. This skill line is all about defence and support skills, giving the players a significantly stronger option of magicka-tanking than a Frost Staff. There are options for poison damage, but know that this isn't a damage skill line.

Weapon Specs

Weapon type – Staff, Magicka

Light attack – Projectile

Heavy Attack – Heavy Projectile, with firing Arc

General Feel – Tank/Support Skill line

Earthen Ward – 250 Ultimate

Use earth-bound magicka to create a Dome of protective magic with a radius of 5 metres for 7 seconds. All allies within the dome gain a X damage shield that regenerates while inside the dome for the duration.

Morph – Shield of Nirn

Extend Duration

Use earth-bound magicka to create a Dome of protective magic with a radius of 5 metres for 10 seconds. All allies within the dome gain a X damage shield that regenerates while inside the dome for the duration.

Morph – Ward of Starlight

Increases Magicka Regeneration.

Use earth-bound magicka to create a Dome of protective magic with a radius of 5 metres for 6 seconds. All allies within the dome gain Minor Intellect and a X damage shield that regenerates while inside the dome for the duration.

Active Skills

Stoneflesh – 2507 Magicka

Grant and Gain Minor Protection to all allies within 5 Metres for 27/30/33/36 seconds.

Morph – Ironflesh

Increase Damage reduction

Grant and Gain Major Protection to all allies within 5 Metres for 27/30/33/36 seconds.

Morph – Oakflesh

Increase Healing Recieved

Grant and Gain Minor Protection and Minor Mending to all allies within 5 Metres for 27/30/33/36 seconds.

Transmute Armour – 3570 Magicka

Transmute the armour of a single enemy into lead, decreasing their physical resistance by 1320 and inflicting them with Hinderance for 12/13/14/15 Seconds, reducing their Movement Speed by 50%

Morph – Quicksilver Armour

Inflict Damage over time

Transmute the armour of a single enemy into Quicksilver, decreasing their physical resistance by 1320, inflict Hinderance, reducing their Movement Speed by 50%, and inflict Poison Damage over 12/13/14/15 Seconds.

Morph – Tin Armour

Decreases Magicka Resistance

Transmute the armour of your foes into tin, decreasing their physical and magical resistance by 1320, inflict Hinderance, reducing their Movement Speed by 50%.

Shockwave – 3570 Magicka

Unleash a blast of Magicka into the ground, churning an area of earth with a range of 18×8 metres, dealing X Magicka Damage every 1 second for 4/6/8 seconds. This ability has a 15% Chance to stun an enemy whenever they take damage from this Skill

Morph – Call Graspers

Immobilise enemies instead of stunning

Awaken dormant Grasper seeds whose roots churn an area of earth with a range of 18×8 metres, dealing X Magicka Damage every 1 second for 4/6/8 Seconds. This ability has a 25% Chance to Immobilise an enemy whenever they take damage from this Skill.

Morph – Sunder Earth

Increase Duration

Unleash a blast of Magicka into the ground, churning an area of earth with a range of 18×8 metres, dealing X Magicka Damage every 1 second for 5/7/9 seconds. This ability has a 15% Chance to stun an enemy whenever they take damage from this Skill

Shape Barricade – 3570 Magicka

Summon an immobile barricade with a health equal to 50/60/70% of the Casters Magicka to act as a physical Barrier for 20 seconds. Enemies cannot cross the barrier but can target it with damage skills to destroy it.

Morph – Shape Spikes

Barricade reflects damage

Summon an immobile barricade with a health equal to 50/60/70% of the Casters Magicka to act as a physical Barrier for 20 seconds that can reflect 30% of all Melee Damage Received. Enemies cannot cross the barrier but can target it with damage skills to destroy it.

Morph – Shape Battlement

Summon a Barricade that allies can occupy

Summon an immobile barricade with a health equal to 50/60/70% of the Casters Magicka to act as a physical Barrier for 20 seconds. 1 ally can activate the Synergy Garrison, allowing them to Occupy the Battlement for a 30% damage reduction and Minor Courage until the barricade is destroyed, timed out or the player exits by pressing the Synergy key, at the cost of not moving. Enemies cannot cross the barrier but can target it with damage skills to destroy it.

Mire Mud- 2807 Magicka

Render the ground Silty and brackish, slowing all enemies within 10 metres of the caster by 20/30/40% for 15 Seconds

Morph – Miasmic Mud

Enemies take posion Damage when they enter the area

Render the ground Silty and brackish, slowing all enemies within 10 metres of the caster by 20/30/40% and inflict X Poison Damage every 1 second for 15 Seconds

Morph – Lifegiving Mire

Heal Allies when they enter the area

Render the ground Silty and brackish, slowing all enemies within 10 metres of the caster by 20/30/40% and heal Allies for 300 health every 3 seconds for 15 Seconds

Passive Skills

Mage Armour

(With Alteration Staff Equipped) Fully Charged Heavy Attacks Taunt Enemies for 15 Seconds and grant a Damage shield that absorbs 640/1280 damage. .

Alteration Expert

(With Alteration Staff Equipped) Your Alteration skills last 5/10% longer

Geomancy

(With Alteration Staff Equipped) You have a 10/20% To gain Minor Prophesy for 5 Seconds when you use an Alteration Skill.

Midas Touch

(With Alteration Staff Equipped) Enemies have a 30% chance to generate 10/20 Gold when killed under an Alteration Ability or with the Alteration Staff directly.

Alteration Master

(With Alteration Staff Equipped) Your Alteration Abilities cost 10/15% less Magicka
