I can’t complete a quest in OOO

I'm trying to go through the Shadows in a Struggle for Power quest from Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul and I found Narind near Anvil and kill all of the rangers in the ruin and I find the Heart of Wild Woods and I can't pick it up. I tried doing everything before hand like reading the notice in Anvil and finding the notes from the Bosmer camps, but every time I try to activate the gem, nothing happens. At this point idk what to do anymore. I tried the Smugglers and Slavers quest and almost nothing worked properly with me having to open the big pen of smugglers through console since the Slavers never had any keys on them or around their hideouts. And after completing it, the Smugglers won't trade with me and act like I'm trespassing. I have OOO installed with Vortex if that makes a difference, I've ran BOSS with no issues, and I really don't want to start a new game since I've gotten so far into this character.
