I want to say before anything thank you for reading this and helping me even if I only get one response.
I’ve owned this game for years and have bought every expansion but never play the game. Over the years I’ve made it to level 26 which is nothing.
Now I’m finally putting wow aside and really digging into this amazing game and need help.
I’m a stamina Khajit dragon knight. I’m dual wielding and using a bow. I have for the most part very little fear of tanking as I tank sometimes in wow and all the time in ff14. Is tanking worth it? Is there a major shortage like in other mmos and if there is, are there benefits in learning?
If I do decide to switch to being a tank is khajit a major downside? I don’t want to make a new character and I have race change thingies but no access to being able to swap to any race. If anything I would change to red guard or orc if that’s better.
I bought greymoor on sale because I heard i can get a big house limited time. Is it ok to do the story there as well before moving back to older content??
There are soooo many side quests!! Are there benefits to doing so many or are a lot of them just for fun and such. I can’t imagine being able to do so many.
How does the size of the world compare to other mmos? I’m absolutely stunned how large the world seems. Again I’m a noob so it’s not hard to impress me but the game seems far larger than I would of expected.
should I sub? I still actively play ff14 because I love it and my wow sub is active but I’m quitting after I do the main story for the next expansion in October. Not sticking around that game anymore. I own all the regular dlc, but I see there are so many stories and story dungeons or something that I don’t have access too.
Lastly what’s up with all the dlc dungeons or whatever they are. I’m so confused I saw a list of stuff in collections or whatever that just confuse me. I don’t understand all the story dlc and chapters and what not. Just seems so different from anything else I’ve played.
Sorry for long post and thank you I’m going to bed!
- Just saw a comment about Blue Protocol that irritated me
- WoW is incredibly outdated
- MMORPGS are not in a bad state right now, quite the opposite, actually.
