Content of the article: "Witcher 4: Princes and Beasts"
In a land lost to time, its history half-forgotten, with the rest steeped in the myths and legends of the fragmented Empires which once ruled over it–the famed monster hunter, Geralt of Rivia, the White Wolf, must recover something dear to him.
Explore the expansive open world of Ofir. Traverse its sprawling kingdoms, navigate its crystal seas, and mingle with its diverse inhabitants–from the primitive tribes on the western coats, to the corrupt nobles and greedy kings that rule Ofir's growing cities. Barter with Skelligan pirates, uncover the esoteric ruins of the old kingdoms, investigate the exotic beats in the depths of the Ofiri jungles. The Witcher 4 offers a fully interactive and dynamic living and breathing world.
You can interact with all NPCs, strike up conversations with them using the new mutli-branch generating dialogue engine. Much like Red Dead Redemption 2, the Witcher 4 will allow you to talk with, interact with, intimidate, or console any NPC, helping the world feel more alive and immersive. Quests can appear seamlessly at any time. Overheard a gentleman in the market talking about a charlatan who claims to turn blood into molten silver? You can choose to investigate further, seamlessly launching you into a new quest. Perhaps you've seen citizens walking into town with wounds. Maybe you should investigate who these people are, where they're coming from. Quests are integrated into the world and are everywhere, so keep an eye and ear out.
The Witcher 4 is a truly exceptional gaming experience that will set the bar for the next generation of RPGs.
Just spit ballin' some ideas for a potential sequel. I always thought Ofir would be a cool place to explore.
- Witcher 3 feels bland outside its quests and writing.
- First playthrough done
- Why you should play Coffee Talk.
