Warhammer: Vermintide

Huntsman rework idea!

I've come up with some ideas to make Huntsman feel better. Before you read anything keep in mind this is just for fun and I'm content with the current state of the Huntsman.

Edge of NightCareer skill:
– Markus’ ability bar is split into 6 sections. One activation costs one bar. Once a bar refills, the next begins to refill.
– Markus becomes invisible for 2 seconds, upon launching a melee or ranged attack he breaks invisibility.
– Ranged attacks do not consume ammunition during this ability. After firing a shot, Markus reloads his weapon nearly instantly.
PredatorPassive ability: – Enemies that do not see Markus take twice the damage from his ranged attacks.
Far from famePassive ability: – Markus passively boosts his teammates’ crit chance by 5%

Level 5.

Staggering an enemy with a melee attack grants temporary health. Health gained is based on the strength of the stagger.Melee killing blows grant temporary health based on the health of the slain foe.Healing yourself with a first aid kit or healing draught also heals your nearby allies for 20% of their maximum health. Removes any wounds.

Level 10

When enemies are hit with ranged attacks, they are marked. One mark = 5% bonus damage. Marks stack indefinitely. Upon hitting a marked enemy with a melee attack, the mark is detonated, and the bonus damage is applied.Killing ten enemies in melee or ranged combat stacks Markus’ ranged power by 1%. This stacks indefinitely, but the bonus is lost upon death.Scoring a head-shot grants Markus’ next shot 50% bonus damage.

Level 15
BulwarkSmiterEnhanced power
Enemies that you stagger take 10% more damage from melee attacks for 5 seconds. Deal 20% more damage to staggered enemies. Each hit against a staggered enemy adds another stagger. Bonus damage is increased to 40% against enemies afflicted by more than one stagger effect. The first enemy hit always counts as staggered. Deal 20% more damage to staggered enemies. Each hit against a staggered enemy adds another count of stagger. Bonus damage is increased to 40% against enemies afflicted by more than one stagger effect.Increases total power level by 7.5%. This is calculated before other buffs apply.

Level 20
Murder at midnightShot in the darkVictory song
When an enemy is killed by a ranged attack, a projectile ricochets from the dead foe into the nearest enemy, dealing half of the original damage.Shots fired while standing still penetrate all armour.Ranged weapons deal 30% more damage but will no longer crit.

Level 25
Son of TaalWhite deathAll guns blazing
Killing a special restores 20% of ammo. Nearby allies gain 10% of theirs. Killing a boss restores 50%, while allies get 25%.Killing two enemies with one ranged or melee attack reduces damage taken by 5%. Stacks 7 times. Taking a hit removes all stacks.Increased movement speed by 10%. An additional burst of 10% movement speed when reloading a weapon.

Level 30
Lord Taal RisingChildren of the forestIncense and Iron
Your special ability bars are reduced to 3. Your invisibility is reduced to 1.5 seconds.Your special ability remains unchanged. In return you receive in-game quests. Taal demands that you collect trophies by killing enemies.Your ultimate no longer turns you invisible. Instead, you can tag special and elite enemies as well as monsters.
The next arrow or bullet that you fire, wherever it lands, be it enemy or terrain, that is where arrows will begin to rain from the sky. These arrows slow down enemies and will deal half 1/3 of your current ranged weapon’s damage.Kill 250 Skaven to receive bonus: Extra movement speed when allies are down.Enemies tagged are highlighted in red.
Kill 250 Norscans to receive bonus: 10% crit buff to nearby allies but not self. You and your teammates gain movement speed bonus when moving towards the marked enemy.
Kill 250 Beastmen to receive bonus: Attack speed bonus to nearby allies but not self.Killing a marked enemy returns 5 ammo to you and your teammates, while also buffing Markus’ ranged and melee power permanently by 1%.
Kill 5 critters to receive bonus: Ammo pouch is increased by 15.

I focused more on the ranged side of things, after-all he is a Huntsman and he is supposed to be very deadly from afar but nothing special when in melee. I also wanted to improve Markus' thematic revolving around Taal.

Before you ask, yes, almost all the talent names are inspired by heavy metal songs.

Do you have better ideas? Is this too broken? I'm curious to know what other Huntsman players think.
