Warhammer: Vermintide

My wet dream.

Content of the article: "My wet dream."

I always wanted a more support/healer focused career. Even if I think it is not necessary, I made my own variation. I tried to balance it within the game's mechanics and other careers, so it would be useful yet not overpowered.

Victor Saltzpyre. Career name: Priest of Sigmar

Health:

· 125 HP. (Note:150 hp with the +20% Health from the Necklace).

—————–

Passive abilities:

· SACRED HEALING: Passively regenerates 1 health every 5 seconds to all nearby allies, Victor included. (66 feet/20 meters).

· SHARED RETRIBUTION: Every time Victor takes damage from an enemy boosts the power of all nearby allies 3% for 5 seconds. Stacks up to 4 times.

—————–

Career Skill:

· SIGMAR'S CHANT:

– Victor chants a prayer and all the allies affected by his mantra gain an additional 3 health every 1 second, cures all wounds and gain 30% damage reduction. (10 seconds duration) (33 feet/10 meters).

—————–

Talents:

– Lvl 5

  1. Damaging multiple enemies in one swing with a melee weapon grants temporary health. Max 5 enemies.
  2. Melee killing blows restore temporary health based on the health of the slain enemy.
  3. Healing yourself with a First Aid Kit or a Healing Draught also heals your nearby allies for 20.00% of their maximum health and clears any wounds.

– Lvl 10

  1. Increase damage reduction to all nearby allies by 7%
  2. Each nearby ally increases Victor's power by 5%.
  3. Increase movement speed by 10%.

– Lvl 15

  1. Enemies that you stagger take 10 more damage from melee attacks for 2 seconds. Deal 20 more damage to sstaggered enemies. Each hit against a staggered enemy adds another count of stagger. Bonus damage is increased to 40% against enemies afflicted by more than one stagger effect. The first enemy hit always counts as staggered.
  2. Deal 20% more damage to staggered enemies. Each hit against a staggered enemy adds another count of stagger. Bonus damage is increased to 40% against enemies afflicted by more than one stagger effect.
  3. 7.5% more power.
Read:  The easiest way to boost replayability in this game is to improve underwhelming traits and add some new ones, possibly some from vermintide 1.

– Lvl 20

  1. Shared Retribution now grants 6% power for 7 seconds. (Originally 3%, 4 seconds).
  2. When Victor is pinned down by surrounding enemies he automatically pushes them back. This can occur once every 5 minuts.
  3. Blocking an attack increases the effectiveness of Sacred Healing. The next 2 ticks regenerate 4 health instead of 1.

-Lvl 25

  1. When Victor takes damage boosts the damage reduction of all nearby allies by 3% for 2 seconds. Stacks up to 5 times. Victor included.
  2. Succesfully dodging an attack gives 2 temporary health points to all nearby allies, Victor included.
  3. When Victor revive a knocked down ally his power and the ally's increases 20% for 2 minutes. It does not stack.

– Lvl 30

  1. When Victor activates Sigmar's chant (career skill) revives all knocked down allies. (Note:This talent would also activate the one above).
  2. While Sigmar's Chant is active, all enemies inside the radius effect (33 feet/10 meters) take 50% more damage.
  3. All allies affected by Sigmar's Chant now gain 5 health every 1 second and 50% damage reduction instead of 3 health every 1 second and 30% damage reduction.

Additional notes:

So I tried my best to balance this thing, but I still find it a little bit overpowered, with the right Careers you could easly make a party inmortal. Yet, as I said, this is just a fantasy, an idea I had long time ago and I wanted to share it with you guys, specially now that FS is adding new careers.

Anyway I hope to hear your ideas and opinions about this!
